after spending 3000 €s, are

I am a little disappointed that I have to pay
for bosendorfer piano.

I have to laugh really, a major OS update that fixes a lot of stuff people have been moaning about, and immediately someone's complaining about paying for new libraries....why would you expect it to be free?carmol wrote:I guess that customer wishes,Kim wrote:listening to the customers wishes.

You should register with your national distributor.Mike-pol wrote:Hi
Someone mentioned product registration issue.
I tried on Korg web site and got a message like: Registration for customer out of USA is not supported.
So Korg does not really care about non-american users??
Why not?keyplayer14 wrote:I have to laugh really, a major OS update that fixes a lot of stuff people have been moaning about, and immediately someone's complaining about paying for new libraries....why would you expect it to be free?

I think even the biggest Nord fans will admit that you pay a premium for the keyboard in order to have access to the "free" sounds. That's just their business model. The Stage 2 88 is $500 more than the Kronos 88. Do you want to compare the number of sounds included in each, depth of the VA(s), multitimbral, master keyboard and sampling capabilities of these two keyboards? Pretty soon the Nord Sample Library will include all the sounds you find in a basic ROMpler, albiet at a single velocity layer. And every time they update one of their models, the price goes up. You pay for it, one way or the other.EXer wrote:Why not?keyplayer14 wrote:I have to laugh really, a major OS update that fixes a lot of stuff people have been moaning about, and immediately someone's complaining about paying for new libraries....why would you expect it to be free?
The Clavia Nord Sample Library and the Clavia Nord Piano Library are available without additional charge (and the Nord Piano Library includes a Steinway D, a Yamaha C7 and a Bösendorfer Imperial...).
Absolutely, and also the entire Nord Piano Library comes in at somewhere around 2 gigs, as compared to 4.7 gigs of unlooped samples per piano in the K.burningbusch wrote:I think even the biggest Nord fans will admit that you pay a premium for the keyboard in order to have access to the "free" sounds. 100% agreed. The Kronos represents a much more in depth value. The Nord line is wonderful.....but if I had to choose between Kronos or Nord....there would be no comparison....Kronos every time. Its a sampler after all....you can pretty much sample/replicate anything the Nord can do if you put your mind to it. No way can Nord replicate what the Kronos can do.burningbusch wrote: I think even the biggest Nord fans will admit that you pay a premium for the keyboard in order to have access to the "free" sounds. there's no mention about font size and touch screen precision,
for example. Only memory, user banks and support of pads.
For a workstation in that price range,
having at least some free new library
would be a nice step,
I.E. to shut the mouth of those that complain
about guitars and brasses, or those that did not like
the "gift" of oasys libraries that many previously buy
at not cheap price.
Many people are joking about the fact that in order to have
these libraries for free, you have just to wait 5 years only.
A stupid joke, indeed, but annoying

There will be lots of libraries available by people on this forum for example, willingly to share them for free. Maybe eventually Korg will give some libraries for free.
