One time I had no connection to the touch screen at all (on my M50), but after disconnecting the plug to the touchscreen and connecting it again it worked, might be a loose connection/plug.

thanks a lot guyz i will try to unplug it, u see i tried to unplug it the other day
but i couldnt because the moment i opened the keyboard it was soooooo complicated! i had to take some stuff out before i can get to the screen and even when i reached to the screen i was sooo confused on what wire to pull and how to pull it, i was so scared that i cut a wire by mistake or somthin so i gave up and closed it lol could u please tell me which wire to disconnect
i tried the one from the screen to the board i think it was a small orange wire but it was stuck like hard to pull so i didnt mess with it

I'm sorry but I don't know exactly which wires to unplug. I should disconnect/reconnect all wirds to the touch screen.

However, of course you only should do this if you feel comfortable with it; otherwise leave it to a pro.

Also if you are in doubt: always make pictures so you can look back later what the connections should be.

I had that problem appear once and it went away..I thought it was due to unstable power source in the electrical supply in foriegn country but never had the problem again so i never looked into it much..I had to replace my screen for my korg D3200 studio after 2 months brand new.it wnet blank and all functions depend on the mouse point and click arrow on the screen..169 dollars labour and parts not bad...My DR880 screen is drk hazed in upper left corner or maybe more but view is still OK and the number 7 bank pops when it is scrolled up..The power surged once and cut out while i had number 7 bank in full rockin go..it works but it pops and had to change some parameters that pop also..Then next trouble with common power outages there hazed the screen but it still works fine for me...The korg triton and korg D3200 have no trouble with the power outages.i run them through voltage stabilizers but i think they were built to handle unexpected power loss like drunkards stumbling over cables,,The DR 880 is roland i guess and does not fare well with power instability.....

You were able to open your Triton Extreme? It probably only took 3 hours, right? Haha. That reminds me, I need to fix the pot. on my audio ins... Some bunghole must have bumped into it at a gig or something.

Cheers!

It takes a maximum of 10 minutes to open my Extreme 61. Less than five if using an electric screwdriver. Just take all the screws off the bottom plate.
Getting to the deeper lying parts is trickier but mainly because you have to be careful and remember how everything is put back together.

I opened my N264 a few times which took about 15 mins or so (it has 73 keys -> more screws).

I sometimes have the same problem ... mostly it starts within 30 secs (which is kind of normal), but sometimes a few minutes, especially after being in a cold environment for some time.
