I think the DX100 is my most frequently re-purchased synth. I had one from new, sold it, bought another, sold it and recently got a third!

My TB303 is easily my most regrettable sale, and not so easy to replace (price!!)
CURRENT GEAR: A yellowing Casio PT-80, 4 leaking batteries and some broken headphones.
WISHLIST: A PSU and some different headphones.

Being a Genesis fanatic, that would probably be my ARP Quadra. It was 1987, analog was on its way out and the keyboard was badly in need of repair. I got $250 for it.

Maybe it's a little bit offtopic, but I sold a Hammond XK1. However, I regret not selling it earlier, because I lost about half the money I purchased it for after having if for a few years. Hammond keeping their value? Maybe for organs, not for keyboards.

It sounded quite good, but it was heavy (it has real wood as 'fixed' case), and the keys were not velocity sensitive so you ONLY had organ, using MIDI was not really useful so I had a 3 keyboard setup at that time. The current Korg has a slightly less good Hammond (M50) but when I have a Kronos I will have a good hammond + good other sounds as well, for just a bit more of the price I paid for the XK1.

These were my favs, for one reason of another, and I miss them all:

Technics SX-WSA1R
GEM S2R
Emu Audity
Korg TR Rack
Korg EX8000
Korg EX800
Korg M3R
Juno 106
Casio VZ10M
Yamaha MU100R (since replaced)
Kurzweil GX-1000
Kurzweil Micro Piano
Korg N1R (since replaced)
Korg Triton Extreme 88 w/ Moss (since replaced with TEX 61 w/Moss)
Crest Audio X20R (Okay, not a synth, but it really hurt!)

All sold to help fund the purchase of my Oasys 88 in October 2008.
Anticipating being asked if I regret it, well, that honestly depends on my mood and the cycle of the moon.
Sometimes yes, sometimes no.
Despite everything that doesn't need to be mentioned to be understood, would I trade my Oasys to get it all back?
I gave this serious thought before posting and the answer is no.

Cool topic that got me thinking. Brought back some happy memories.

Peace,
David -

I can imagine .. I also gigged with a real Hammond (L100) and Leslie (I think it was a 147) ... both were not mine but could lend it ... but it failed quite a lot and we need 4 people to carry it in and out a van. But the sound is incredible.

Roland D50. I didn't realize its potential and sold it to fund a D70.

I do wish I had them all once again! But, that is what sacrifice is all about. Here is the list: Farfisa portable organ, Wurlitzer electric piano, Fender piano bass, Arp 2600, Roland SH 1000, Orchaestron, many moons pass by.....then Korg M1, Korg T3-ex, Korg 01wfd, Ensoniq EPS 16+turbo, Roland JD800, Roland Intelligent Arranger. Like most of you, I usually had 4 or more in my array. :)
Kronos 2 61, Wavestation A/D, Yamaha Genos and others.

Poly-800. Not particularly amazing, but an interesting synth to work with nonetheless.

Seriously, if possible never sell any synth, or probably any other instrument that still works.
