...Think of the plus side though; if you have a knob rather than a slider to control the volume, there's less chance of it being accidentally knocked during a performance...
CURRENT GEAR: A yellowing Casio PT-80, 4 leaking batteries and some broken headphones.
WISHLIST: A PSU and some different headphones.

This is true, the only problem I've had with using the knob is that you have to be careful not to catch the vector joystick when reaching for it....iixorbiusii wrote:...Think of the plus side though; if you have a knob rather than a slider to control the volume, there's less chance of it being accidentally knocked during a performance...

Does anybody know if it can be adjusted for small changes?keyplayer14 wrote:This is true, the only problem I've had with using the knob is that you have to be careful not to catch the vector joystick when reaching for it....iixorbiusii wrote:...Think of the plus side though; if you have a knob rather than a slider to control the volume, there's less chance of it being accidentally knocked during a performance...
I regularly use it for volume changes (fade in/out), because it's more precise with a slider/hand than by foot.
