All the new Yamaha boards seem to always be in stock.
Put a deposit down on one. It won't be widely available for a good while yet. It took me 4 months from putting down a deposit. If it's a Kronos that you want, then that's how it is I'm afraid.
If you wanted a yamaha then you would go and get one. If like me, you want the Kronos. What's 4 months in the scheme of things.
It's a beast mate.
Will get Kronos, just don't understand why new Yamaha boards are immediately in stock and not the Korg Kronos.
I think this happens because Yamaha hasn't got anything new since MOX... and this was months ago... So for now the demand on Yamaha isn't as hard as with Kronos.

But Kronos was announced a long time ago, well before Yamaha MOX.

Maybe it's because they are in the luxurious position of knowing that every board they make is already sold. In a recession, it makes perfect sense I suppose.

Frustrating I know. If it's rare, it's more valuable.

I repeat. It's a beast. Get one.

Are they hoping you will accept this rather than waiting for the one you want?
They are not expecting me to have a 61 instead of a 73 but I think they are trying to give me hope as to the situation. It is the U.K.

Tsunami is right.

Some dealers hold more sway than others. If your dealer isnt well in with the Korg reps it can add to the delay .

Bonners. they are part exing my Fantom G88 which turned out as a disappointment. no decent piano, to heavy to gig with, organs not great, but it was real easy to use, I dont think I had to look at the manual much. Also £200 voucher. I will get the korg damper pedal I think and an ebow. Always wanted one.
