Hi Ascent
Not sure if you know this but the TR-Rack has an additional 8mb of extra ROM waveforms over and above that of the stock 24mb waveform ROM of the standard Trinity keyboard, so any PCG for the TR-Rack will not translate correctly with a normal Trinity as many of the TR-Rack's patches will be referencing non-existing waveforms on the Trinity.
Ideally you'd need the PBS-TRI (PlayBack Sampler) option for the Trinity keyboard to obtain, compile, and employ any of the extra waveforms that the TR-Rack's PCG files use.
If you don't have the PBS don't worry, there are many great standard PCGs available for Trinity that take the Trinity way beyond the factory presets. Take a peek at the Korg Forums database.

Yes, iirc, you're quite correct - there was a sample set for PBS-TRI that was pretty close to the extra ROM in the TR-rack. So with this sample set, it's possible to get pretty close to the entire TR-rack pcg.
Unfortunately, I can't help you locate it - it must be out there somewhere, on someone's old SCSI or ZIP drive....

Korg TR Rack, No Midi-Input signal (?)
Just bought a second hand TR Rack, it seems to work fine but it doesn't detect any midi from my master keyboard(s), I thought it was an audio problem but when I press the A4 button I get a middle C note. I tried resetting (A4+reset on startup) but that has no effect, the display didn't indicate that it was resetting so maybe something more serious is going on
. Any suggestions would be welcome! Thanks!

@Rick
Sounds like the unit may be transposed UP for some reason. If your controller works correctly with other sources this would be the problem. Also, if the TR is playing "middle C note" then it IS getting a midi signal.
As to how it behaves in conjunction with your master keyboard(s), it may be more a matter of connecting the controller to the parameters you're trying to control. A deck full of knobs is useless if they're not linked to CC#s that the slaved unit can use.
Finally, make sure that memory protect (global menu) is OFF and that CC's are enabled before trying to reset or write any parameters.
