Sequences written on he extreme CAN be played on any triton. They are all korg's .sng files. But they will only sound the same if all the programs are in the same slots as the synth on which they were originally written.
So you have a choice. Either go with just GM voices (that's why GM standard and banks are there) or figure out a way to make your rack exactly mirror your extreme (or close enough as makes no difference).
To do that you'd need to install all, or at least most of the exb boards to the point where you'd use all the available EXB slots. Then write voices in the same order as they appear on your TrEX with all the edits and personal programs you might have used in your sequence. At that point you will have cloned the Extreme; thats a handy thing to have in case your board implodes - you'll be able to hook up a controller and gig while it is in the shop.

I'm not sure about all Tritons can play songs created by an Extreme, because it has a lot of additional banks not available (default) in other Tritons.

.Sng wil play on any korg synth - yes you will run into problems with the Extreme's factory banks and using any voice or drum kit that isn't GM.
Thats exactly my point - either stick to GM, then any triton or GM synth for that matter can play 'em and sound right -- or clone your extreme so your sounds are the same place on both synths. The second choice would be ideal for the OP given that he's sequencing on the Extreme, but since the first choice can be done regardless of platform that would be the fastest quick fix for the problem.
I believe Extreme, Studio and Triton Rack all have the same bank configuration, but not the same voices unless you "clone" them into the correct places with the Extreme providing your template.
Even without the EXB boards you can get close using the instrument name and type as a guide for building the extra banks.
