Midi dump

Post by rlw71160 »

I have access to two Korg LE keyboards. One has the sound I love, and the other does not. I am trying to get the sound on both keyboards. I was told I could do a midi dump. Has anyone done this effectively?

Isn't it possible to use a stick, or multi media card or floppy to create a PCG file?

Smart media card with a pcg file is the way I have always loaded sounds on my triton le. I had the files from all of the other tritons along with their arp patterns that I interchanged frequently in that way. I never tried a midi dump however.

You are in luck they are still widely available here.
And they are cheap. :D Once you get the card just put it into the board you want to copy from and save the pcg and then remove the card and load the pcg into the other board and you will be good to go.
