Great and very bang for the buck synth ... I have also one and used it until I got the Kronos but the sound is very well ... you already know you can read Korg M3 files on an M50?

Hi Michel.
I knew that the M3 and M50 sounds were pretty much the same but I didnt really consider downloading M3 files as well as the M50 ones in the Download section.

Thanks for pointing this out am about to downlaod them now. and congrats with the Kronos, had a go on one in the shop I ordered my M50 from and it is superb, maybe once I can get my head around the m50 I will consider a purchase, got a feeling it might be a while yet though :D

The only thing that doesn't work is Karma and sampling.

Take a look in my signature link, maybe you can use the app I am creating.

I'm curious. Why do you say that?
Kronos 61 & KK KARMA / Triton Ex c/w MOSS and TR KARMA / MS2000 / Radias / Kaossilator Pro & Kaossilator / Korg Kontrol 49 / Nanopad / Novation Nova / Waldorf Blofeld

Line 6 Flextone XL / Line 6 POD XT / Roland V Bass / Ampeg Portabass & Cab / Assorted Guitars (no whammy bar) ... and a Fender Champ ...

The Korg M50 does not support sampling (it has no RAM for user samples, nor inputs) and Karma is also not supported onboard.

Does it have the same number of fx as the M3 then? I thought it was limited in the same way as the LE vs Triton.

No, this is one of the major improvements over the LE/TR/X-series products. Certainly what I found most exciting about the M50 (however lack of alternate outputs, and aftertouch, and really awful 61-key action, put me off)
