This will answer one question for sure. Since you are sending it back directly to Korg, if yours comes back with the dreaded note cutoff problem etc... then they have not fixed it at all.I am sending it back to the same people that built this keyboard.

"Kronos ,worst keyboard I have ever purchased"

and then just leave ?
Where you PM'ed with bullying messages to change the title or what ?
because at 1st you said this
Then you change the title anyway . Why?jahrome wrote:The title is very accurate representation of my experience with the Kronos. From faulty data wheels that surfaced after a few days of use to my Kronos being completely inoperable. This is terrible. No power surges. No other equipment in my studio is damaged...just this Kronos. Yes, I have the extended warranty. But this is crazy that a $3000 keyboard would be so defective. I will contact Korg first thing tomorrow and return it.
Because if people are attacking you in PM's then that's not right .

The fanboys here , must have really harassed you .
Hopefully Namm 2012 will solve all problems Kronos related . Good Luck !

That's a bit uncalled for Rocness. If any one is being harassed by another member then I would love to see the proof so I can take appropriate action.Rocness wrote:WOW ! Indeed, threatening is axactly the word I would use as well.jimknopf wrote:If I look at all the hardware failure messages from users in this forum alone, this is really sounding increasingly threatening: owning a keyboard, which to your big surprise maybe just doesn't start anymore some day. The cases reported here alone are definitely too many for us other users to feel safe any more.

Rocness, what are your intentions on this forum?Pepperpotty wrote:That's a bit uncalled for Rocness. Your activity here and elsewhere is very disingenuous.

Disingenuous ?
I may not see eye to eye or agree with the majority on all the topics but that's no reason to question my post .
If there is something disingenuous going on around here trust me it ain't me .
Peace
Weather you and I agree on a subject has nothing to do what I just said. See the forum rules for how that works. I truly mean what I type. I will not argue with you or any one, and if we ever disagree, we will agree to disagree like adults.I may not see eye to eye or agree with the majority on all the topics but that's no reason to question my post .
To be clear, its your activity on this Forum I question as moderator. You have this idea there is a conspiracy going on here and its your duty to expose the so called truth. What you imply and say about the site, our mods and me does not go unnoticed here and elsewhere on the net. I would like to address this and assure you its all nonsense.
This nonsense must stop so ask me what you like. Just do it sooner rather than later as I don’t have the time to monitor paranoid ideas and people being disingenuous.
Are you going to be apart of the community here or not?
Regards
Sharp
Pretty simple....forum members didn't like the title so I changed it.
My wife talked to Korg Japan today. They are not sure what the problem is. They are guessing its the motherboard so they ordered one. I wasn't given an estimated time.
Of course in the back of my mind I am thinking....."You built the keyboard. Why isn't there parts readily available for repairs."

Probably they use currently every part for production, on the other hand, it would be logically they used a production part to repair your synth first.jahrome wrote: Of course in the back of my mind I am thinking....."You built the keyboard. Why isn't there parts readily available for repairs."

It's actually you who see fanboys and enemies all around who want to harass somebody.

I have to say, you and your friend sparkie (alias RayS) are pushing the meaning of the word "paranoid" to some complete new level there.
Huh?
We hear about a tested fix from Rich, and Korg Japan doesn't know about it??? What about a phone call with Rich? I think that should be technically possible.
By the way, I appreciate your new thread title: it shows all the frustration you feel, without extremely negative generalisation about the board, which without such issues is the by far best synth and synth workstation out there from my view.
And I just feel contempt for the way Rocness and others try to insinuate conspiracies behind the curtains, and misuse well understandable frustration like yours, for badmouthing the forum culture and moderators here, and Korg and the Kronos in general.
It is very well possible to share justified criticism, without playing foul games towards Korg and the Kronos.

I've put up a reply on there as I felt that I was being dragged into the bullying "title" and I feel that is WHOLLY unfair. And I will echo my feelings again here. (page 9 of 11 in that thread)sani wrote:

Whilst I didn't agree with Jahrome's assessment of the Kronos, and voiced my opinion in this very thread, I IN NO WAY bullied him in to changing the title (and would welcome Jahrome's comments on this on to confirm).
And to answer the actual thread title from Roland Clans, the one reason why I don't really even lurk over there any more (hence one person less in internet traffic) is the unpleasant vibe I get from the postings.
Which is a shame, as the wealth of information available over there is great.
Yamaha SY77 & KX88, SSL Nucleus, Korg Kronos 61, Wavestation A/D, Access Virus B, Roland XP30, DeepMind12D, System 1m, V-Synth XT, Focusrite Red16Line, Unitor 8, Akai S3000 XL, Alesis Quadraverb+, Focal Shape Twins, Full fat iMac, Logic Pro X, ProTools 2021, loadsa plugins.
I changed my title because I thought it would be better for the community in general. Nobody e-bullied me. Let's move on.
I will keep the forum posted about Korg's handling of my keyboard. I was working on a project and really need this keyboard.

The paranoid muppet show going on there, with people who obviously have no life other than chatting about the Kronos, instead of making music with their own Roland JP80 and exchanging about that, is really funny, isn't it?

I guess nobody here takes them serious in any way any more. They worked hard to reach that state. Whenever they have their adventure day and come over here for a tremendously exciting visit, they should be welcome. And then they come back to their muppet show and tell the news.
"Jimknopf is starting to get worried." How exciting!
