updating the triton os

a quick one this, (I hope) does doing an os update erase the Combis or programmes.?
Current gear: korg Triton (classic). Korg 01w/fd. Korg MS 2000r. Alesis Ion. Novation supernova Mk1 (rack). Kawai 16 ch mixer. Alesis midiverb 4.

Probably not, but why not make a backup, it only takes a few minutes and can save hours (days/weeks) of work. Besides it is always good to have a backup.

Ok thanks, how many disks would I need to back up everything?

A complete .PCG file of all combis & programs (and global data) will fit on a single floppy.
M3, Triton Classic, Radias, Motif XS, Alesis Ion

Also save it on a PC/laptop in case something goes wrong with the floppy.

Keeping it on a pc/laptop, now that's a good idea, I never thought of that. By the way. Are there any demo songs I can download?
