yeah I thought it was a bit high too... but at the same time, do you know how many people are going to purchase this at that price point?
they are going to get paid...

If its that good, will be worth every penny, on the other hand the piano's in the Kronos are the best already, so not sure really how many will take up the offer

I enjoy classical piano. To have a Steinway, Yamaha and now a Bosie sampled grand is like a dream come true. The Bosie demo already shows a different piano character, as one might expect.robkeith wrote:_____________________________________________________________apex wrote:yeah I thought it was a bit high too... but at the same time, do you know how many people are going to purchase this at that price point?

You know it's really great to be able to run this in demo mode. Demos of software sample libraries are tough to find. You can find plenty of demos of VAs but usually when you're dealing with large sample libraries you have to buy them based on audio clips.

You guys are right again. I've been checking everyday and in the evenings also. I also checked about 4 my time today. After logging into the forum about 10 minutes ago, I went to one of my emails and the email offering the A piano @$249 had just arrived. However, I need to expand my ram memory first. The board is on order...then the fun will begin.

Absolutely! I don't know why all piano samples are like that. I've purchased serveral librairies over time, they all do that.aron wrote:The demo sounds great, but how come the high notes sound very "plinky" - like they have a very short release? I think that's the one thing that comes across in many piano samples and the one thing that makes me like the Yamaha S90ES piano so much... the S90ES has a full bodied release in the high notes. When you play a grand piano - the high notes tend to ring a lot more than what I hear on these samples. I'm not sure if the release time is really longer, just that these sampled pianos seem to decay so fast. Anyone else notice this?
A third as many than if it was half the price?apex wrote:do you know how many people are going to purchase this at that price point?

Kronos Exs12 demo problems
Hi everyone. I had 2 Gb of Ram so i have to unload something to free enough space to install the Exs12 libraries. After having loaded them ( in the U-G AA bank) i immediately noticed that in all the new patches the sound decays automatically . Any suggestions (a part from uninstall and reinstall/reset which i already tried and if so how particularly) ? Just for instance : are there any settings which i can manage from the Global section ... ? Tks . Cheers.
