any faster way to change all the timbres in Combi mode ?
Hi
Every time I try to create a combi, all of the 16 channels automatically assign themselves from 1 to 16, accordingly. In most cases, I need all of them to sound at the same time but they are in different midi channels.
Is there any faster way to set all of them to Global channel rather than going to Timbre mode and set it one by one as I find this time consuming.
Thanks guys

Likewise, I found it useful to set up a combi in a 'ready' state for KARMA combi setup's and save it as a template.

If you use the copy from program command, that timber you assign your program to changes to GCh

Actually I think (almost) all non program parameters are changed to the defaultnarf wrote:If you use the copy from program command, that timber you assign your program to changes to GCh

I too have found this to be the easiest way to add programs to a combi. If you go to program mode, and audition programs leaving the one that you want selected, then go back to the combi mode and use the copy from program command, the program that you had selected in program mode is the default. Just pick the timbre that you want to put it in, and if you want the fix's (and mix's) copied also.narf wrote:If you use the copy from program command, that timber you assign your program to changes to GCh
This way, you get the ifx settings and more predictable performance of the program in your combi. Also, as noted above, the midi channel will be set to GCh.

The problem is, if you want to layer 2 or 3 programs, you cannot just move through the programs. I would like to have an option to use the current combi and iterating through programs, using the effects of that program (if it fits with the - only - really used IFXs in the combi).drchris wrote:I too have found this to be the easiest way to add programs to a combi. I have to ask. Why do you need all 16 channels set to the same midi channel? Is this for live playing and having a lot of different sounds spread across the keyboard?
