I have had some issues running Kontrol Editor with the nanoPad2. Eventually I seem to have been able to get it working by manually setting the I/O. Kontrol Editor simply does not see the nanoPad2 as a related control surface. Even though I have been able to get it to work somewhat, it shows an unsupported device error when I run Kontrol Editor.
Issue two, though not nearly as pressing, I got the Korg Bundle Software Pin. In the instructions it says download the Kontrol Editor software, install and launch it and enter the PIN.......okay.....where? When I open Kontrol Editor, I get no prompt to input a PIN or anything of the sort. I only rarely get the nanopad editor to pop up. Can anyone shed some light?

I find it disconcerting that over the course of a day there has yet to be a response. Well, not so much that there has been no response to my particular post but that of the posts regarding driver issues and configuration, there are no responses of note.
I appreciate that the Nano series are a budget solution and I can work with my product as is but for integrity's sake, shouldn't someone address these issues? Korg Kontrol Editor is not a particularly complex bit of software. Man, I had control editors from Behringer that worked better. BEHRINGER! Of all companies. I can't imagine any company would want to be compared to them in a bad light. Get the freakin' drivers and editor working properly. It can't be hard to do. Dedicate five coders to it for a week. It couldn't possibly take that long.
Pardon my rant.

Light at the end of the tunnel
Let's shed some light on this. For what it's worth, if you are looking to your local distributors site for the latest downloads (as is suggested with the included documentation) you are barking up the wrong tree.
Since the moderators here are unwilling to put in any information, please allow me.
Go to: http://korg.com/SupportResults.aspx?productid=596
Select your product from the dropdown menu and download the latest versions of:
As far as the software bundle is concerned, I could care less. I have full, legal versions of the software I need already.
To the mods: Thanks for nothing. [/b]

Hueseph,
It is not the moderator's job here to answer support questions.
This is a user forum that is independent of Korg. If you need technical support, you should contact your Korg distributor for your region.
Moderators on forums are unpaid, and are here to keep the place organised and often 'keep the peace' when there are misunderstandings and other such clashes between users. We also keep the forum free of spam and unwanted advertising. We do all of this in our free time.
Some Korg representatives do use these forums, again in their own time, and they tend to only be active in sections for recent and flagship products. Again, this is their choice and User Forums are not an official support channel.
In fact, the forums are more conceived as a place for collaboration, brainstorming, and sharing our experiences, than they are a place for technical support.

Glad I read this before being a dick :)
wow I just assumed this was an official KORG entity, glad I read this cause I was getting ready to make a fool of myself! Had no idea you mods are volunteers, sheesh now I feel bad for calling the Native Inst. mod a nazi lol, when he's probably a proudly democratic volunteer and German by no fault of his own. As am I
OK, I'm getting my driver frustrations focused, and I'm going to complain through official channels from now on. Thanks!
