Korg TR 76 Inquiry.
Can someone advise me with what is probably a simple question but I cant find the answer in the Korg manual.
I have set up some favourite combis in the USER category but can’t seem to delete them from the category or change the order of favourite combis etc.
The only way appears to be to delete all combis I have entered and start again, ie go to reset default and load all voices in again.
Is there a more efficient way?
Thanks for any response.

Re: How to delete combis from the USER category
If you change the category of a combi, it will show up in the newly set category and not anymore in the previous category.sound space wrote:Korg TR 76 Inquiry.

If you want to reorganize combis, the easiest way is to copy them on the Triton to the newly desired location or use PCG Tools.

When you save a combi category is one of the things you get to write, along with combi name and location.
To undo that operation you will have to re-save with the old category, or just erase or over-write the combi with a new patch.
You can set up order by writing to a blank bank on a librarian program (like pcg tools) or do it the old fashioned way by putting them in one at a time in the desired order (i.e., from a pcg on a disc).
Korg's user category is just a category, it is not an order enabled "favorites" bank as you might find on another synth; think of it as a folder that can hold any patch you use often, whereas the piano (category) folder should only hold your pianos.

In fact, even to think of it as a 'folder' isn't great, because a category doesn't actually store anything. A category is more of a 'search' of tags. Each program can only have one such tag.
So you mark program A052 as 'favourite', and say it used to be 'bass'. Now it will be found under favourite and not bass, but the actual location of the sound is bank A program number 052.
Sounds are stored in banks. Category it only a little marker that you can search for.
