AX3000G and output select function

Post by michelkeijzers »

Dear all,

I am a keyboardist and have quite some Korg synths. My wife started to play guitar a small time ago and she could buy a AX3000G second hand (which I'm going to get today).

However, she was wondering which output select to use. In the manual is stated:

AP1: Choose this setting if you’re connected to a clean-sounding amp such as an open-backed US-manufactured combo amp.
AP2: Choose this setting if you’re connected to an amp with a distinctivesounding mid-range such as a UK-manufactured open-back combo amp.
AP3: Choose this setting if you’re connected to a stack with a closed-back 4 x 12 cabinet(s).

However, she has a closed Musting II. What is the best to use then?

Thanks in advance.
Note: probably I will ask more questions on behalf on her here.
