MIDI Implementation part in parameter guide not readable.

Post by michelkeijzers »

In the Trinity parameter guide:
http://korg.com/uploads/Support/Trinity ... 760000.pdf

the pages 165 and further cannot be read by a default PDF reader (like acrobat or the internal PDF viewer).

Can somebody maybe check if he can read this correctly (maybe by using a non adobe acrobat reader) and copy the contents of those pages to me?

Or otherwise, scan the pages and mail them to michelkeijzers@hotmail.com?

I will check if I can add support for PCG Tools for the Trinity.

Oh, you really shouldn't bother - there's nothing on those pages. Sysex is available in a separate file. I'll try to find and send it to you.

Sent you the TR rack's as the Trinity is 11 MB (a bit too big for my bandwidth). I think you should be able to find that on the net and the TR-rack should give you already a good overview.

I also see nothing but I expected the full MIDI implementation.

Thank you for sending, but I already have the TR, however Triton and Trinity are not the same.

@Synthjoe: I send you a PM about sending scanned pages.

If somebody else has the time: please don't hesitate to give me screenshots of pages 165 to 183 ... in the online manual these are blank probably due to an incorrect PDF generation. I have sent a message to Korg to check this.

With the MIDI imlementation I probably can add support for Trinity in PCG Tools.

The TR-Rack (not to be confused with the Korg TR Workstation based on the Triton) is the rack version of the Trinity.

Back on topic, all my Trinity PDF manuals on my computer are also blank on the Midi Implementation pages.

If I have time after this weekend, and no-one else has done so, I will scan them from my original paper manual.

Oops feeling stupid now ... always thought TR stands for Triton. Anyway, I both cannot handle Trinity and TR files in that case.

Thanks for the scanning offer! And yes I reported the blank pages to a few people inside Korg... Strange that nobody has done this before.

I sent you a PM about resending (my document does not contain combination parameters).

Did what I could.

Just to note as per Tmo's post: even though the TR-rack does not accept any expansion of the Trinity (except the DI-TRI ADAT output option), the base implementation should be about 99% compatible with the keyboard model - so MIDI messages from one whould be pretty much compatible with the other (notwithstanding model identifiers, four banks and some other bits and pieces alike). That's why I sent you the TR-rack manual.

If I recall correctly I've downloaded it from the net somewhere, about two years ago, I've no idea from where exactly. However, the scanned file is quite large and not the best quality, so a better one would be really good.

I'm not sure whether my printed document has this information - I seem to recall that these pages were empty in my original manual, too. Hopefully someone will have it handy and can make better scans for the community.

Interesting because I searched through most Korg sites and others too and could not find your document. It may have been removed during the years of course.

If anybody else has the pages I mention I still would gladly like them.

Also someone from korg (I'm not sure if I can mention his name), gave me the tip to check the source code of Alchemist and that is very useful too.

TR Rack Sysex

Post by ProfPlat »

Hi

I have just got myself a TR rack. I an looking for the complete TR Sysex manual. Everything I find on the net stops after Table 1 - there should be 7 tables (listing the parameters for combi and global etc). I have contacted Korg and they only have up to table 1 too. I notice that some of you have scanned in and emailed - I would love a copy

Regards
