I uploaded a new ZIP. There is also a RAR if you continue to have problems.Gambler wrote:I think you have some kind of error in your archive #2. Doesn't open either with WinZip or 7-zip.

Thanks all.
You know it's really a good library. A remarkable find for something that's freely distributed. Thanks Gambler for bringing this up. I was aware of it but had so many issues in the past when trying to convert I put it on the back burner.
But these are quality samples, each note sampled at full duration, multiple pickups, with and without the Fender Reverb amp. For clean or lightly distorted, it's going to be hard to find much better. Now if someone wants to work with the amp/overdrive sims in the Kronos and come up with some additional programs based on these samples, THAT WOULD BE GREAT.
I got a PM from a user asking if these programs can be loaded into other banks. I thought I'd post the response here for everyone.
Short answer, yes.
By convention most Program banks (PCGs) default to User-G. This relates back to the original Kronos which only had one Program bank free. Now that we have the additional U-AA through U-GG there are lots of places available.
Below is the dialog that will appear if you LOAD a PCG file. By default, the PCG CONTENTS field will read ALL. If you change this to BANK U-G selection box to the right will appear. You now have the option of loading any of the programs that were saved in U-G to any other bank. So select U-AA, for example and press OK.
To find out what Program/Combi Banks are saved in a .PCG file, press the OPEN button (not the LOAD button) a few times and you will see everything that was saved. This is also a way that you can audition programs without loading AND loading individual programs/combis.

I've been trying to load these guitar samples/programs and I'm still a bit of newbie here and have not been able to load them. I tried following the instructions provided above but the samples appear not to be loading. I know when I go to program bank USER-G and bring up the program, it says at the top of the screen "Samples Not Loaded". I suspect that is because when I go to load the KSC file it is showing Memory Required of 1.9G and Available of 173M. However, when I go to the Media Info tab after hitting the DISK button and select HDD: INTERNAL HD, it shows that the Total Size is 27G and the Free Size is 14G.
Can someone help point me in the right direction and let me know what I am doing wrong here. Much appreciated!

Make sure you load the UserBank.KSC, not the other one. Use the Append option.esierka wrote:I've been trying to load these guitar samples/programs and I'm still a bit of newbie here and have not been able to load them.
