printable X50 sound list by category?

Post by Jim_L »

Anyone have one or know where I can D/L one?
The manuals list is nice but it'd be real helpful to have a printed master list of the sound groupings (& bank numbers) to quickly determine/search for similar sound types.
ie: All brass, all organs, all strings, etc...
Preferably a word doc rather than an xml so I can edit to taste...;>)
Thanks,
-Jim

I'm not really sure if the X-50 contents can be converted to a Korg Triton PCG file ... maybe only vice versa.

However, for Triton PCG files (and many more but not X-50) PCG Tools can make such lists.

H Mike, i'm not sure what you just said....;>)
I'm just looking to print out a text file in msword....;>)
I don't use a computer with the x50 or for recording.

I know but you need a computer to print it out anyway (or to have such a file).

If you can create somehow a PCG file is compatible with a Triton than it can be generated.

The advantage is that you can use the PCG content of your (or any) X50.
But PCG Tools can only read Triton files (and others, but not X50 sadly).

X50 files can be converted to .pcg files and vice versa. open x50 editor and you can choose option "export" to save library as .pcg file. You can also choose "import" to open pcg file ;)
