Octave do not work

Post by Chaos27 »

The octave has #1 and 2 on the left side above the joystick. Why they don't work? I was able to go 1 octave higher/lower but today I cant. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Those are not dedicated octave switches. They can be assigned differently for each program or combi. Many programs and combis have them preset as octave up/down.

You can view/change the assignments in Program Mode on page 1–7: Controllers Setup or Combi Mode page 1–1: Controllers Setup.

Oops I see. OK. But I was using the Korg M50 as a midi controller with Kontakt Ivory. I was able to go 1 octave low/high but I cannot anymore. I didn't use any of the Korg presets.

On some patches, they probably were assigned as octive down/up, but you can define them PER program.
