Korg TR rack custom programs / patches

Post by paradox »

Hi All,

First post, been coming here for the last two years getting info on my Korg TR rack, as well as getting Trinitro installed and working, but i was having trouble finding any info on patches so i thought id join you all, and ask about.

With the Trinity Rack module, is there a place where you can download / buy custom patches or edited versions of the stock sounds?

Cheers in advance!~

All commercial banks that were once available for the Trinity are long gone. So unless you find something second-hand on eBay or elsewhere, you're not going to be able to buy anything.

Hi, i have the Trinity, not the TR rack, but if you can load files in PCG format with Trinitro into the TR rack i can get you some files. There are also some PCG files on the download section here on the forum.

Paradox - as you will load these sounds?
From PC (trinitro) USB - MIDI?
What are your USB / MIDI interface?

Hi,

Yes, i managed to load some of the patches last night, i had an error with one (Custom piano patches), but it still loaded ok. The Italian set on the download page worked fine.

I use a Roland UM-ONE usb to midi device, and have the device plugged into both the MIDI input and the Output of the Korg TR rack.

Hope that helps.

p.s. i know it seems like a simple thing to remember, but do save your original TR layout so it can be re-called through trinitro if something was to go wrong during the loading.

I'm sure the Trinity has a USB stick, or some form of card (CF/SD) ... you can use PCG Tools (see link below) to save/load PCG files from/to that card.

The Trinity has only floppy and SCSI connectivity.
