Report after years of owning my M50

Post by StudioMan »

So far, the only thing wrong with my M50 is one small LED either became disconnected or burnt out.
I've done more than a few shows, still never a real problem.(Besides the rare "Hum" that is never found).
A GREAT investment for me personally.
A couple notes:
I treated the power connection to my M50 VERY CAREFULLY! I always thought that was what would break, like it did on my Yamaha keyboard back in the day.
KORG ROCKS!

Same here ... I have several synths: Korg X5 (very old), N264, Triton Extreme, M50, Kronos.

The only problems I had is that the sides of the Extreme has broken a bit, due to an uncareful placement in a flightcase. And in cold weather sometimes it takes upto a minute before the LCD shows up. For the M50 I had the same: being careful with the adapter, but never had problems with it.
