...revives thread...
I dusted off the Motif XS6 recently and loaded up K-Sounds' Signature C7, fell in love with it all over again and last week stumbled across a YouTube video for the Epic Piano.
Bought it last night and installed this morning.
It is in a word - brilliant.
Both Sig C7 and Epic are beautifully sampled renditions of the same instrument; the difference (and what a difference!!!) is that Epic is close mic'd while Sig C7 was sampled with room ambience.
Epic's file size on Motif is slightly larger - 504.1mb vs 497.4mb for Sig 7. The Kronos Epic file is over twice the size at 1.2GB, but even at 504mb, Epic sounds amazing and is a joy to play on Motif
