Just from the QuickTime clips, they sound pretty stellar. I'm not at the Kronos right at the moment, but I'm not sure the stock pianos on the Korg measure up to what I was hearing on the K-Sound's site.

I am also interested in this, would love to hear some demos of this piano in some different styles.

...revives thread...

I dusted off the Motif XS6 recently and loaded up K-Sounds' Signature C7, fell in love with it all over again and last week stumbled across a YouTube video for the Epic Piano.

Bought it last night and installed this morning.

It is in a word - brilliant.

Both Sig C7 and Epic are beautifully sampled renditions of the same instrument; the difference (and what a difference!!!) is that Epic is close mic'd while Sig C7 was sampled with room ambience.

Epic's file size on Motif is slightly larger - 504.1mb vs 497.4mb for Sig 7. The Kronos Epic file is over twice the size at 1.2GB, but even at 504mb, Epic sounds amazing and is a joy to play on Motif :)
