Triton ProX--> Editor/Librarian for Mac?

Post by madisonmeadow »

Greetings! I am wondering if there is any editor and/or librarian software out there that can be used for a Triton ProX on a Mac operating system.

Thanks,

LeLibby librarian will run on Mac in Java Run Environment -- Java for Mac was free last time I checked. Likewise most windows librarians will also run on Mac if you load a run windows environment. There's a bunch of very good legacy software for tritons generally, but almost all of it is for windows machines.

If you're truly in need of a librarian then you'll either need to get a light duty windows platform (used/older computer) or pay a few bucks for a program to bring your Mac into the world of PC.

You can also save .pcg files to floppies. If your Mac is without a floppy drive those are available for about $25 (USB peripheral) pretty much anywhere that sells computers.

FYI: Triton Extreme has a USB port that can handle .pcg files directly.

In case you go for a Windows emulator (for Mac), also check PCG Tools, it's free (see the link in my signature).

LIbrarian/Editor for the Korg Triton

Sound Quest supports most if not all vintage devices. MIDIQuestPro11 has all the devices listed on their website and once you've purchased the software, you can download a file configuration for any MIDI Device you may own. It's not that expensive and runs on a Mac or a PC.
