Better late than never ;)

Post by bluelava »

Hi all!

I'm a proud Korg Kronos 61 owner since Christmas 2012 and have been passivly using this forum with its very valuable informations for quite a while. Now I finally found the time to introduce myself :) Besides the Kronos I'm using an Alesis Fusion 8HD, I think that both instruments make a great combo.

I'm mainly playing (progressive-) rock, soundwise I think I'm heavily influenced by Tony Banks, the Genesis keyboardist.

Thank you! :)

If I hadn't had the Fusion before, an 88-keys weighted controller would have been for me as addition to the Kronos. But I would definitely miss the VA (the "Arp-like" filter) and the Hollow Sun sounds, especially all the mellotron tapes. But looking at pianos, eps, organ, .. the Kronos is a full step ahead of course.
