Hi I just bougth a korg le 88 yesterday and i noticed the version is 1.0.5. should i update it? does it have a better sound?

You probably can find the release notes in the download at korg.com.

thanks for the reply. does the led right normally flashes for the tempo?

is the flashing normal because my LE 61 does it?

Afaik that is the tap tempo led and flashes according to the speed of the drums/rhythm.

Mine is constantly flashing as soon as I turn the power on

+1 to MK. That's a visual cue for tempo of drum track &/or arp speed (note that arps may be set to partial or multiple beats depending on quantization from 16th down to quarter notes which varies their response). It is also handy when using MIDI linked or BPM effects to see what the delay rate or gate will be.

It does not indicate LFO rate.

This is a standard feature for all Korgs that have tempo or clock driven features.
