If you have that file yoruself (or is inside your M3: just make a PCG file yourself) and use PCG Tools to make the voice name list.

moss banks
i have 4 stock moss pcg's. moss, moss2, z1 bank A, and z1 bank B. i assume the z1 banks can only be loaded 1 at a time.
i would be happy to send them to you. you can only see them in trinitro, or just load them via floppy.

I can not use!
I have the EXB Moss only in Triton Extreme, my Trinity Pro does not have Moss!
Can I use Exb Moss in (Triton Extreme)?
Sorry my english is bad!
xavier wrote:no, the cards are different : MOSS-Tri for the Trinity, EXB-MOSS for the Triton (EXB= for the Triton family, "-Tri", for the Trinity)
Ok Xavier!
Thanks for your explanations!
Please answer me this question:
The Sounds of Moss Tri (Trinity V3) are the same as EXB Moss(Triton/KARMA)?
In your opinion...
What is best in sound? Moss Tri or EXB Moss?
I already have EXB Moss Triton Extreme ...
Compensates buy another Moss Tri for Trinity?

If I remember, the oscillators are the same, but all the rest is depending the "host" system : the modulators, the filters (?) and effects.
Thus, even with the same data, the sounds will sound differently.
BTW I prefer the color of the Trinity : I had both Trinity and Triton, and I have sold my Triton. I am in love with my Trinity

I have no experience with Triton or Triton Moss, but the modulators (EGs and LFOs) and filters of Moss are self contained within Moss so they should in theory sound the same on both synths. However effects are not included with the Moss on either boards, and so these depend on the Trinity or Triton's own effects structures. So these WILL sound audibly different.xavier wrote:If I remember, the oscillators are the same, but all the rest is depending the "host" system : the modulators, the filters (?) and effects.

I believe the only technical difference is that the Triton Moss is multi-timbral (you can have several Moss sounds at once, up to the maximum of 6 voices in TOTAL) whereas the Trinity Moss is mono-timbral (you can have only one Moss sound at a time, regardless of how many Moss voices remain unused).
Also the Trinity has no host arpeggiator, whereas the Triton does. I know this has nothing to do with the Moss board, but the ability to arpeggiate Moss adds a whole new dimension. (I use my MC505 to arpeggiate the Trinity instead).
As you can see, when comparing JUST the Moss boards, the Moss in the Triton gives you more options (multi-timbrality and arpeggiation), so I would say the Moss-EXB would be the most flexible option overall compared to Moss-TRI for Trinity.
The difference in host effects structures would likely be the only 'audible' issue, but give or take they should be similar-ish, overall.
