Having problem with banks/organize sounds
Hi,
In my kronos when I go to the Programs, then keyboard section, I can see below acoustic pianos / electric pianos / clav... some grey "user 4" "user 5"
I wonder if one grey "user" which I can't access could be renamed like "DX7" and then I could put all the DX7 sounds there for example?
I don't know why I can't access these...
Thanks for your help!

They are grey because there are no sounds in it, yet.thekid wrote:Super! Thanks Mr
I have been able to rename them as I wanted but they are still grey/not accessible
To put one sound in another category, select from the main menu [Write Program/Combination]. Here you can choose the category and subcategory from each sound, before you write it.

Sorry to say this, but with the kronos it's the only way to go through all 128 programs, after you load them, and change the category manually for each sound.thekid wrote:Thanks!
I would like to import directly a whole "bank" of sounds in one of these and from the load utility I can only import to USER-AA etc
Sorry...! It's not so easy to manipulate!!
With my free PC software TidyKronos it is also possible to change the categories for multiple marked sounds (e.g. a complete bank) at the same time.

- Load the bank for example to User GGthekid wrote:Realy?! Ohhh!
When I import to bank User GG for example how could I retrieve the sounds to import them then to the category I want ?
It seems they are here and here in different categories! A pita to have them all at the same place!!!
- Save the whole PCG (Set All)
- Load this PCG into TidyKronos
- Mark all programs you want to edit: For this example, select U-GG instead of All Banks in the filter section. Then select [Mark All Programs] with the content-menu (right mouse-click over the list).
- Select the point [Mulit-Edit] from the [content-menu][functions].
- Change the categories
- Save the PCG with TidyKronos to a new filename and load this to the Kronos

Also PCG Tools (see the link my signature below) can be used to organize and search for programs/combi.

??? Yes, but with PCG Tools you can't change the categories of 128 or more programs at once... And it's also just for windows...michelkeijzers wrote:Also PCG Tools (see the link my signature below) can be used to organize and search for programs/combi.

If you're talking about an entire bank of Programs, why do you need to change the categories in the first place?
