Quick disable of velocity
Hi,
I need to know if there is a way to quickly disable velocity, e.g. have all keys play has if they were hit hard even when they may have been touched softly.
Is there a way to do this quickly or any instrument?
Tia

I don't believe there is a quick way ... There was a thread about it some time ago.

I think in combi mode you can use real time controls, and one of those controls is velocity ... (not sure about name). So you can change at least 1 timbre this way.

Would it be possible to assign velocity to a knob?
If music is the food of love, play on and play loud!
Gear: Kronos 73, Wavestation EX, Polysix, King Korg, Monotron and Monotron Duo, Minikorg, Moog Grandmother, my very old MiniKorg, 4 acoustic and 9 electric guitars, 1 Ibanez 5 string bass, a Steel guitar, a bunch of microphones, 2 pairs of studio monitors and other very cool toys, 1 wife and 4 cats and a lava lamp!

not possible to do this on the kronos without the help of external gear.
If you are using the kronos in a DAW then it's really easy, for instance in cubase just add 127 in the track fx velocity section of the inspector which is routed to your kronos. Set global to off on the kronos, now when you play on the kronos , all notes will have the maximum of 127 velocity. But this obviously only works when you are using a DAW.

It's the hammer action, I prefer plastic keys tbh.. I know it's sacrilege to prefer plastic keys over piano-style action.
but not everyone started playing out on wooden pianos
Your best option is as Voip said above, change the velocity curve !!
Once you raise the velocity you may have to lower the volume fader for each miditrack to regained lost dynamics, that's the only blowback.
