Lock Velocity Range/Value

Hi everyone,

Is there any way to lock velocity range or even lock a timbre to a certain velocity? For clarity, what I'm looking to do is ensure that a key press falls within a certain velocity range regardless of how hard I hit it (for volume purposes). I will most likely need to do this in the piano engine, MS-20, and HD-1. Hopefully there is a way to do this regardless of the engine.

Yes. There are many options to set the way a particular program in a combi behaves to velocity. Search for e.g. "velocity bias" in the parameter guide.

Afaik there is also a velocity intensity real time control parameter.
