New Korg Kronos owner reporting!

Post by darwinwiebe »

Hello there!

Just got a Kronos 2 61 a couple weeks ago. Awesome machine. Qui's videos really sold the deal for me. Wish I could play like that, but wanting to take some lessons in the future. I have all his tutorial videos saved from YouTube.

I have had NI Maschine and Komplete 10 for a couple years, but I've done more on the Kronos in the last two weeks.

This is the first workstation keyboard I've owned, previously owning simple keyboards with less than 100 sounds available. I may wind up selling my other stuff in the future.

I'm the kind of guy who rarely looks at manuals for my gear, but my iPad has gotten a lot of use looking at the ones for the Kronos. Such a complex unit, but so fun to explore. Just noodling around, checking out the sounds, I will find something that makes my family sit up and take notice.

Hope to find some good info here and make the most of this thing.

Darwin.

Congratulations with your first workstation ... and yes, the videos of Qui are really good. Maybe its good to read at a later point the operation guide, so at least you don't miss too much of the capabilities of the Kronos.
But most of al: enjoy playing.

Thanks.

I have all the manuals on both my iPads. Quick start, operation, parameter, and voice list. Downloaded all I could from Korgs site. They get looked at a lot.

I also have your PCG Tool program and it's handy as hell!

Gotta pick up my case I ordered for it later today.

Great you enjoy the Kronos (and glad you like my application).
The documentation of Korg is very extensive but very good too. And you always can ask questions in this forum.
