Computer can't see pcg files on usb

Post by transitbear »

I have backed up my Extreme onto a usb stick and the triton recognizes the files when I put it back in and check but my computer doesn't see any files on the same usb. So I can't start working with PCG Tools because I can't get the data into that program on my computer. Any suggestions on how to get my computer to recognize the data that is on the usb stick? I know, bit of an odd question.

I guess I answered you on FB, but here again (for others):

- Try to read the stick at another computer
- Create a backup (triton or another computer)
- Format the stick on your PC
- Put the file back
- Read in PCG tools

Thank you

The answer was pretty simple and typically it was a user issue. I "backed up" my triton but had "CF card" has the destination rather than the usb I had plugged in. Once I changed the destination, it worked and now I have opened my backup in PCG tools. Very cool program btw. Thank you.
