Problem touchscreen Korg PA1000
Hello again.
No luck with Korg. Again the problem! Recorded marriage on video. If only included Korg then everything is ok. If it is just turned on 3 minutes, then this problem will appear. What to do? Marriage display? Turn it off, turn it on, 3 minutes everything is ok. Then begins.

Hello!
I suggest you to do a touch panel calibration by holding down GLOBAL button for some seconds.
IF that doesn't fix the problem then you should take it in for repair..It should still be covered under warranty..
Your touch panel (digitizer) seems to be faulty.

My PA1000 also behaves similar way. I've been living with it for a while but now have scheduled a visit to service.
Using KAOSS mode is the best way to demonstrate the problem but there're also another consequences such as random onscreen menu items activation.
Very seldom my synth even activates onscreen menu items when the touchscreen is not being touched at all.

I doubt it is in the OS as pa700 or even pa4x should be doing this too in that case (the touch panel and its code must be the same..)
I hope it is a hardware fault and not a design flaw causing it to pick random noise as touches...

Now that the problem looks like the common one the key question is wheter official Korg has already dealt with it.
Unfortunately i failed to have found online support page/form at Korg official web site, it seems that they prefer to contact with authorised services only.
If Korg hasn't released appropriate notice on this issue yet i'm afraid that the servicemen could have a troubles to cope with it.

Please make a video of your problem in KAOSS mode. This is necessary to confirm and solve the problem, possibly related to a hardware error in production.looo wrote:Now that the problem looks like the common one the key question is wheter official Korg has already dealt with it.

Well, i have recorded another demonstration of the issue being discussed. This time one can watch unintended menu activation example.
