Thank you noch mal for posting this here. Very useful feature. I come from yamaha Keyboard psr S970 and i really thought so a basic feature must be on any TOTL arranger. But surprisingly it was not the case and i have bought below my pa4x another psr S770 and i will upgrade to Genos later this year or next year.karmathanever wrote:THIS:-

Cool - it is interesting how one small issue can be so important and sometimes, a show-stopper so I completely empathise with you.
In the reverse, I could not return to PSR/Tyros/Genos due to it's Bass Inversion implementation and no tempo lock and no intelligent chord fingering like Korg's fingered-1 (and Roland's and Ketron's and Casio's).
It is always subjective and personal and what one is used to eh.
That dedicated bass-hold feature would be nice - for my few songs when I need it I manage to get around it with bass inversion.

Hello,
Speaking as a novice PA4X user, I would like to see the following on the next model;
1. Larger adjustable touch screen(not fixed as on Genos) with better graphics.
2. Improved sounds to match or improve on the Genos.
3. Larger storage memory.

I would like the fast forward buttons on player 1 to double the function of the on-screen buttons.
Unless, there is a conflict I am unaware of.
It does not directly yield a new feature, just faster more reliable data entry with the tactile feedback of the buttons. These buttons advances the measure in playback mode, why not also in record mode? They could also function-as they do on several daws- you press it once and it switches by one measure - you hold it and it becomes a faster and faster forward/backward.
For me the Korg Liverpool makes a faster and more reliable step recording than the Pa4X.

I would like korg to add a simple option and simple app for ipad and android tablet connection, to only display lyrics, score or songbook screen, while maintain main screen on pa4x.
On eq to add adjustable low cut per track and drum element.
Left hand area velocity while playing to affects style and pad tracks and sounds.

Set List, adding continuous numbering.
For now we can number or specify the songs only from 1 to 12.
It would be more practical to have continuous numbering for more than 12 songs in page, in order to give a number to each individual song and
that would be very practical during live performance to find faster any song in Set List.
That would be the example:
1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12-13-14-15-16-17...and so on.

Ability to load SF2 Sounds as they are!
There is many sound in SF2 format that i load into YAMAHA Yem, and than in Genos, it,s realy easy to make new sounds from that.
Like now there is Support for loading(IMPORT) but not like a real SF unit, it,s like loading evry single sound.
It must load bunch of sounds that is in SF2, mapped and ready to play.
Just adding some release and some fx.

Addition to wishlist for OS-updates
* Ability to adjust monitor mix independantly of main output mix. This way you can have your mic louder than the music on your monitor (connected to output 1 or 2) and in balance on the main output (left and right output).
* Ability to have imported samples automaticly adjust volume according to velocity.
* PA series computer editor => ability to duplicate set lists

Arabic - Unicode Characters Support
I do not need full Arabic support in the OS, but I really need to be able to read the names of my MP3 files!
A big number of my MP3 music files in my library are named using standard Arabic characters, but unfortunately the MP3 player in my Korg Pa4X displays the Arabic characters as question marks!
I think it is extremely important to support the international standard "unicode characters" at least in the Song player section of the Korg Pa4X.
Please see how the names are currently displayed in the first 2 songs in the following screenshot:
