the bug on the pads -the lock not functioning
extend performances tab bar from 1and 2 to a further 3 or 4
same for styes from 1to4 to a further 5

please stop about guitar mode in real time
you need 2 hands for play in real time, that's no sense
you can program every pattern you want and if prefer us in pad mode
but not guitar mode in real time
put here only the question about update os (better if minor request, like add some little function, not big innovation)
and then put here bugs found

Come to think of it, If they fix the bugs it currently has, especially the freezing and SSD corruption, that would be good enough for me.
I'm about to buy one, but I'm scared it will screw up.

For me, these are the priorities to fix before I trade in my Pa1x Pro and get a Pa2x:

a) A way of easily clearing SSD User memory and GLOBAL memory settings (like the Intro1 OS reload on the Pa1x).

b) Diagnose and fix the problem that causes SSD memory corruption when sampling.

c) Fix the "local off" bug that fails to mute the Pa2x sound generator when you are using an external MIDI setup.

d) Work out why the Pa2x sounds "dead" compared with the Pa1x when playing the same sounds. Fix the sounds, samples, FX, default settings whatever.

e) Lock GLOBAL memory as default.

f) No longer allow GLOBAL subfolders to be created within a .SET file. Use the .GBL file type only. Ignore any GLOBAL directories found within a .SET file if the user tries to Load the whole .SET file in one go.

I think Rob made the most sense of all of us. We always ask for SPOON

Hi Nedim Hi ROB KArma and al of you out there, Hope that you guys are ok.
I heave the babys here, PA1Xelite & Pa2X, And yes there is many of the best soundin stuff missing, But, this Unit is NEW, and i,m sure that KORG can give more life to this KB, (I HOPE)
What i realy miss is NEW STYLES maded whit New Samples, Loop,s and Sounds.
There is to much of Bossa and Cha Cha, We need Better punchy R&B Hip Hop, Dance/Trance, Stop using old people to make KEYBOARD Styles, I think one thing here is WRONG, This is not a KB, This is another kind of TRITON Whit COMP mode, including a COLORED display!
So realy what is a PA2X?
In my mind it must sound better whit better ADON sounds from KORG, There is so many Extra sounds for the OASYS forexample, but not so much for KEYBOARDS, Are KORG Afraid of saying that this KB can make more and sound better?
Of course no bugging KB is a must!
But on the same time there must be more for this product so we can Improve more and make better music from it, Some styles are from 1993 , just remapped and resounded, But is the same.
So pick up some youg people, And make them to sole this missing part of this great KB!
I think this is a better upgrade!

Guys, I just thought of a feature that would be great. I dont know if it exists allready, if not, it would be great.

In style play mode, Different track volume levels for different variations of a style.

For example, sometimes, I'll have a percussions only variation in VAR4, it would be cool if it was louder only in VAR4.

You can easily do this in Style record modus.
Increase the volume or velocity of the VAR 4 percussion track by, for example, 20% and save it in a User or Favourite style bank.

no i do not consider to us a notebook. I consider to change from my Roland G70 to the Korg Pa2XPro and the Roland has this function which i will miss on the Korg.

Thought of another one...

In sampling mode, a way to load and write all .WAV or .AIFF samples in a folder consecutively. (Order determined Alphabetically). Added after existing samples in memory.

Will make life much easier for example when creating multisamples from individual .WAV files.

1. Pads should have the EQ Option Just as styles does.
2. I use pads for accompaniment and samples. When u hit stop in the styles mode (naturally everything stops) but you should have the option to turn pads on as soon as you hit Start button (automatically)Pads should start with the style. This way, you don't have to restart each pad all over again. We only have two hands.
More outputs than the four we already have!!!
