Hi Robbie,

First: congratulations on getting your Kronos. :)
Second: where did you get it? The shop I ordered mine from, tells me the workstation will arrive in 5 weeks from now.

Thanks for the info, Robbie. That shop is practically around the corner for me! I'll call them coming Tuesday (they are closed on Monday). Thanks again. :)

I just called Laenenmusic and they told me they have no K61 anymore. They only have a K88. They don't expect the K61 and K73 to come this year still. Meh, too bad... :(

Kronos #1946. Looks like they are ontrack to crush the Oasys sales. :)

Kronos 73, Serial #458.

So far things appear good, though the scroll wheel is quite flimsy.

Haven't seen note cutoff problems, but man this thing sure eats polyphony on combis, even with just a Piano and a String patch. Cuts off quick when using the sustain pedal, while only holding 5-6 keys, and then trying additional keys.

Do the tap test (push finger several times left and right alternately on the button ... if it falls off, you should ask for a new one (then you have the old version).

Ask for a new one? You mean take it in for service? Or can I replace this myself if they send me the part?

As far as I know you can do it yourself ... contact Korg support for details.

The issue was already recognized by Korg quite some time ago and the old dial wheels can be replaced for free.

Ok thanks for the tip. Actually not only does it feel flimsy, it's also not very accurate at all when it scrolls. It skips over things, AND sometimes doesn't move the cursor at all.
