These days Korg seems to be opening up their hardware - which is great!
Does anyone know if they are willing to do this for legacy products?
Specifically I have an Zero 4 firewire digital mixer. I would dearly love for the Tape Echo effect to be more usable by reducing the warping/pitch modulation. If Korg could open source the firmware then I might be able to tweak this parameter myself?
Has anyone ever successfully requested open sourcing firmware on any Korg products?
Also keen to hear suggestions of who to contact about this.
Thanks

I remember someone tried to hack the Kronos software, which was not appreciated.
I create PCG Tools, but never officially asked for the firmware, although it would be nice if some features could be built inside some workstations (especially Korg Kronos).
