One thing though when I try to play a style using the Audio Player, (just oen of the oens already in your db) I get the message "The specified device is nto open or is not recognised by MCI"
Any ideas about that one, or perhaps something I am not loading or doing wrong?
Dennis
The media player doesn't read the styles. To implement such a function at this stage would stop this project dead in it's tracks for a year as there are too many different type of style files all in different formats. Compatibility can also be easily broken when keyboard OS's are updated.I find that the 'midi' player for the style will only work on one style in the Database. The rest are not active.. See pics.
That's a feature for another day but if you want to start building your own database right now, then just download this empty file. Also when I create a new Database the screen has no active windows...I can't find a way to 'Add' any styles. Perhaps just me here....
Yes, at the bottom of the webpage are the installation instructions.jnow4321 wrote:Hi

Just looking at that here and I found a typo / error. The Style “8 Beat Ballad” for the Tyros 1 is referencing a file called 1.mp3 This is a test file I was using at the time I was writing the media players functions. So that's a mistake on my part, that file should not be typed into the media player window.
I will remove it on the next release.
Try playing back the style “Modern Ballad” for the Tyros 1. That should work.
Slow Rock 1 & Slow Rock 2 are also ones that should work.

James
