Help? My RD-KB is flaking out.

Post by ngr33n »

Hey. I posted this here for a different reason but I figured heck, why not, I'm on a board full of KORG junkies, might as well ask!

Last night my RD-KB started doing this thing on a select few keys in the upper register where when I push it, it would play the note but not let go. If I unplugged it it would stop (I think this indicates that it's not my RADIAS-R [-o< ) but then when I plugged it back in, and hit the key again, it would do the same thing. A couple of the keys, as I was doing this over and over hoping for a better result, would intermittently work normally, then go back to being all broken. :-(

I'm not sure what to do...has anyone ever had this problem by chance? Or opened one of these up and know what might be wrong?

I never play hard with it, and last night all I was doing was recording some pad sounds, holding down the keys for a while. Only one of the keys that was freaking out was one I was playing (which is how I noticed it was happening).

Sorry to use so many words. Any advice? :|
