Hello everyone,
This is so far my first major problem with my TEX76 that i bought in 2006.
I found that the C3 key is somewhat triggering the B2. If for example I play the note C3, hold it down and play B2, the B2's velocity doesn't get high enough to be heard(around 10-30). And sometimes, after pressing B2 while holding down C3 first, the release triggers the B2 at high velocity(maybe around 100-127). It only happens when I am holding down C3. B2 is playing fine by itself. I tried it with other keys and they are ok. I also tried to play and hold down B2 first then play C3 and its somewhat ok except that when I play B2, then play and hold down C3, then I release B2, the C3 note sustains B2(note that I'm not using a sustain pedal).Very wierd.
I'm afraid i might need to replace the whole Yamaha KX669 E76K (E'-C3) keyboard trigger just for that freakin' wierd problem. But if there's a fix with this I hope somebody in the forum can help. The culprit seems to be the C3 note.
P.S.
I love my TEX!!!

It seems like a hardware problem, an idea might be to open the case and check if there is some dirty or maybe some small metal item that might cause the wrong contact.
