Just purchased a new Kronos 61.
My new Kronos 61 is on it's way to me. I am a guitarist with little keyboard experience playing through Roland GR/VG guitar synth/modeling systems. Wow, do I have my work cut out for me in terms of grasping some of the complexities of this beast called "Kronos". Looking forward to digging in. This site is an invaluable resource. Thanks to all contributors.

Re: Just purchased a new Kronos 61.
I have much the same hardware plus the UA20 switch pedal to control both the VG99 and GR55 at the same time. Sadly I have hardly ever play the midi out into the Kronos as I just get sidetracked from any plan whenever I switch on the Kronos. It just generates so many ideas itself. Hope you have better luck with it.ZenSonic wrote:My new Kronos 61 is on it's way to me. I am a guitarist with little keyboard experience playing through Roland GR/VG guitar synth/modeling systems. That is great to know that the Kronos is keeping your interest!Ksynth wrote:I have much the same hardware plus the UA20 switch pedal to control both the VG99 and GR55 at the same time. They would not even let me fish in that camp! The delta was teeming with them. Could have caught an orca....catch and release of course.Stratario wrote:I was hoping for a hunt near the end of the video. It didn't happen.
There's a good tutorial DVD available on eBay that would be very helpful.
Amoo Farrokh
What is the title of the DVD tutorial you referred to on Ebay please? That sounds helpful. thanks

Yes, US 20 - so many confusing names for these devices.ZenSonic wrote:Hi, do you mean a US20? If so, I have one too! On another note, is there some sort of a consolidated pedal board controller that works well adjusting the foot controlled parameters? I have been reading allot of reviews of various volume pedal/expression pedals and on/off/sustain switches. I think I would prefer an all in one unit if there is a good one to be had. THANKS!

I like the Behringer in combination with a Korg. But what exactly do you want to know about MIDI foot boards?

Developer of the free PCG file managing application for most Korg workstations: PCG Tools, see https://www.kronoshaven.com/pcgtools/
Thanks for responding, I ordered a Boss FS-5U and Yamaha FC7 after reading some favorable reviews here. was hoping to find a simple, small all in one board.
