I made this option quite long ago in PCG Tools, but I never tried with a Kronos 2 file (besides I don't have any sequencer, so I cannot test).
But you can give it a try, and if you find a problem, let me know and I can possibly fix it.

My first suggestion was to try the PCG route…….our good friend and its author beat me to it…(Thanks michelkeijzers…..).
There is an app for script making….windows only though, but can be used with an emulator on an iMac etc.(The same applies to PCG).
A couple of links…..
ftp://ftp.steinberg.net/Download/PC_Stu ... r/English/

One snag with script making using the Korg editor is that it doesn't include the Combies……but these can be added by hand,if needed.
A text editor can be used for entires or further editing.
If you already have the original Kronos script file, perhaps a manual method is an option.
Good Luck.
Please provide any updates with your quest.
Best Wishes.

Thanks Michel, your tool works well!michelkeijzers wrote:I made this option quite long ago in PCG Tools, but I never tried with a Kronos 2 file (besides I don't have any sequencer, so I cannot test).

I don't know whether it's perfect or not, but by now I don't see any problem with my Cubase 7.5 & Kronos-2.
If I meet any issue with this, then I'll let you know immediately.
Thanks!

A glib answer would be....the same as for Kronos 1.....
(Sorry, couldn't resist....just my sense of humor).
However,if you're asking what the purpose of a script file and what they are used for,I shall provide a short simple answer.
The script file lists the voice names and can be called/selected from the Cubase inspector as required.
They basically contain midi programme change data for a particular instrument etc.
Usually written as text files which can be edited with a ....text file editor...
Hope this helps.....
Also,do read the previous link I provided in an earlier post.....it is interesting reading.

Since the old Kronos Editor was only 32 bit, I could never use it as an VST-editor in Cubase because I, for obvious reasons, want to use 64 bit Cubase.
But one thing that I used the old editor for was making the Cubase script for my Kronos sounds.
But now when I bought a new Kronos 2 for a lot of money I dont even get an editor at all?!
Korg what are you doing?
Give us at least some information when the new editor may be ready!
And please make it 64 bit!
