Well this is how this thread gets messed up - by insinuating that we could all fix it by knowing how to use our boards you're kind of forcing me to respond, and like I've already said I've refrained from banging on about this because I've no wish to talk up the problem.

FWIW, my pedals were set up and calibrated before I even played a note on the K - it's not the issue.

Make sure you don't apply that principle to matters concerning your health, car, etc.
You are right ... What I actually mean is, people not noticing problems with their keybed do not complain and are happy with their Kronos.

Today I contacted my dealer.
He told me that the musician who bought his other Kronos88, had the same problem with cut off notes. He had that Kronos in the shop at this moment. He played on it thru the phone and I heard the same deffect.
He contacted Korg service point and they suggested a factory reset. That did not work with de Kronos in the shop. My dealer will contact Korg again for a sollution of my and the other musician's problem. So I have good hopes that at the end I will have a Kronos that is working well, because it's a monster board!

Have a kronos 73, with the same bouncing keys problem.. very annoying..

If Korg doesn't come up with a solution, i will return it for a 61 keys...

But i am confident Korg wont let us down.. they are probably working on a fix.. Lets hope so!

You have failed to update the list with people who have found ways to fix their problems. For example, PianoManChuck was able to do so with a pedal calibration.
Good point - I have updated the list to note PianoManChuck's experience and add keekma and huibn to the list. Personally, I had cutoffs without any pedals connected to my K88 #1 and #2.

Again, folks, hypothetical discussions such as the number of % affected out of total K owners means NOTHING here.

Let people having problem discuss the problem and it should mean nothing to you folks as you don't have this problem with your K. So what's the point in trying to derail the subject? Stop doing this.

Is there anyone who had the kronos sended to the Repaircentre for replacing the keybed? Did it solve the problem?

My kronos 73 keys are bouncing like hell when i play. The result is muted piano notes or double sample triggring. In my opinion it's unplayable. Am considiering to claim my money back.

Actually nowhere in my post did I insinuate that it would fix everyone's problems. It is very obvsious that it does not fix it for everyone....the question remained how many would it fix it for?

The first thing you did when turning on a brand new keyboard was calibrate the pedals? I'd imagine most don't take that approach.

Again, it isn't that it fixes everyone, but it might fix some!

Why haven't you tried to get a good one (replacement) or let it fixed?

I don't know how many times it can be said. This web site is not an official on line Korg service center site.

True, it can be useful to read another user/customers experience from another country.

If I were you, I would push on your Korg service center for the facts.

If they are uncertain, that should be obvious.

If they are certain about what they are telling you, than you can make an educated decision.

That's great news.

When I phoned Korg USA, they said their service center could take a look, but I should expect a turnaround time of several weeks, and Korg USA suggested a better option was returning to Sweetwater. I agreed with this option as the service center route could risk pushing me beyond the return period.

Today, I feel that the problem of defects in the Kronos did not bother me as much as before.
A week ago I canceled my order for Kronos from German dealer.
I do not want to be a beta tester paid my 3699 Euro for it.
When Korg will do a quality instrument, which I'll be 100% sure, then maybe I'll think again about the new order.
Not before.
