Korg NanoPad question with Kronos
My buddy let me borrow his Korg White Nano Pad not the nanopad2 the original. I have it hooked up with MINI USB into the A USB Slot, I do not have on hand a MINI USB to the B slot connection. From what I read on the Manuel I need the B connection not A, Will this still work and if so how do you set it up?

Any class-compliant USB controller, including the nanoPAD/PAD2 would connect to the Kronos' USB A port (the rectangular port).
You would also use a Kronos USB A port to connect an external hard drive, CD reader or USB flash drive to the Kronos.
The Kronos Type B port is only used to connect the Kronos to your computer to support MIDI over USB. To set up the MIDI connection you also need to install the Korg USB MIDI driver on your computer.

For example, in my Kronos setup I have:
-- Kronos USB B port connecting to my PC to provide a midi connection between the Kronos and my computer
-- Kronos USB A port to connect the nanoPAD2
-- Kronos USB A port to connect a USB pen drive
Regarding the nanoPAD, you should be able to simply plug it in after the Kronos is powered up, and the top 8 pads should automatically mirror the 8 Kronos virtual pads.

Support for USB MIDI and Korg USB pad controllers
Kronos Version 1.5 adds support for connecting USB MIDI class-compliant controllers directly to the Kronos. For instance, you can use a Korg microKEY as an auxiliary synth-action keyboard for a Kronos 73 or 88. Even better, Korg USB MIDI controllers with pads–including the nanoPAD, nanoPAD2, and padKONTROL are automatically mapped to the Kronos chord pads, for playing and programming drums, triggering chords, and selecting and assigning chords for Chord Mode.
