You could work around this issue by creating a SGX-1 program that only has the mechanical noises, and then make a combi of that program and a HD-1 piano program...

I keep wondering why it's possible to combine 2 EXi programs but not a HD-1... Also, why should I choose wether a bank is EXi or HD-1...

Some food for thought and possibly OS 2.5 ? Also, I want more banks now that sample streaming is available! :-)

The piano sound is quite nice. Had to turn down the mechanical sounds though, they were a bit to much for my ears.

Are other people getting the streamed version to work?
Same here. I also got the same problem when I load the file with the kawai_ex_pro_ex. It loads nothing. When I try to load the Kawai_ex_pro file I got "missing file" and the Kronos freezes.

What do I do wrong.

I've always loved the Kawi Ex Pro, and I loaded it just fine, I think, but it doesn't sound right. The velocity is all wrong. I barely touch the key and it plays loud. Maybe I didn't load everything that I'm supposed to. I'm new to sampling with the Kronos. I'll continue to work on it though.

Update. After a restart of the Kronos i managed. I loaded the PCG file with the Load KSC option checked. Maybe it had something to do with the FTP connection that was still open on my computer.

Thank you for the nice piano.

yes i felt the same way too... the velocity switching i think is the culprit..

I had this to first. The samples are in the wrong order and three are missing. Check the osc page. When you load the large ksc file, you have to check the clear sample banks option, so the samples are in the five first places of the sample bank. The pcg is connected to these. Also you can change the sample order in the program yourself.

And then convert the samples to user banks for the virtual memory.

Hi all. I'm sorry for the fact that this Grand can sound not quite correct, especially in the velocity ranges. But programs in PCG file are provided for informational purposes only. You are free to make the program of your choice from these samples. I'm still going to finish programs in PCG. When this is done - I will update the library archive.

Please take a look one more my library: http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... hp?t=74472

here, all ok, but when press a key and then press the sustain pedal I can hear a sort of "mono" switch, it seems that the sound go towards center.

I really like this but had to mess about a bit to get all the bits loaded. Still had a missing sample at the top of the velocity range so just assigned 0-L to that.
I got rid of the pedal release osc and made it a Single osc program, and dialled the damper effect back. Also made it more velocity sensitive in terms of brightness and volume.
With all those tweaks I really like it. It has more body than the German Grand and I think will work better in a live situation.
Thanks a heap for making it!
cheers

Glenn, could you share the PCG you made that uses these samples? TIA.
