Yes, and if we all could fly and be rich and nice - and even realistic - , that would probably be cool, too.kingy10kingy wrote:Korg should work with Steinberg and have a full blown version of cubase 6 as a sequencer on the Kronos, now that would be cool .

The Kronos aint cheap buddy and people have been flying since 1903, maybe not cubase but something at least similar to it made by Korg is possible in the future.jimknopf wrote:Yes, and if we all could fly and be rich and nice - and even realistic - , that would probably be cool, too.kingy10kingy wrote:Korg should work with Steinberg and have a full blown version of cubase 6 as a sequencer on the Kronos, now that would be cool .
Can someone put me right please...
The reason why I want a decent dedicated on-board sequencer is because, when I used to own an M3, I tried using it with Logic and it was such a pain in the but getting logic to use the M3 sounds, I just gave up.
The problem is that the program banks made no sense to Logic and the whole setup was just a disaster for me to get my little brain around.
My question is, has all this been resolved now? I haven't even bothered to try through fear of frustration.
Is it now possible to connect the Kronos to Logic (or other DAW) and use Kronos sounds withouth any hassle? And I mean WITHOUT ANY HASSLE. If I've got to mess about with software and hardware associations for more than a couple of minutes then I don't want to know. I just want to sit down, turn on and make a quick tune.
Anyone else share my views?

If you are just 'triggering' 16 midi tracks with Logic as master and Kronos as slave, you can do it easily without any hassle. Morever, USB midi & Audio are well integrated into logic.Niblit wrote: Is it now possible to connect the Kronos to Logic (or other DAW) and use Kronos sounds withouth any hassle? Managing banks, patches and full environment between both is a bit complex.
So answer is: yes, Kronos works well with Logic. But depends what you want to get from them.
maybe an update offering for new year??? would be nice
In the HELP menu/screen on the KRONOS , (sequencer> mode>Midi sequencer) it says ""Timing resolution is a maximum of 192 ppq" shouldnt that be 480?? Maybe some of the "sequencer help" is still based on the OASYS ?
