Setlist Styles
Am I the only person who finds the setlist screen a bit of a mess... I just find it hard to tell the name of each slot and to find the correct slot while playing live!!
It would be great if they changed the fonts or colours so that everything is a bit easier to read....!
I'd find something like this better!!?? any suggestions??

Damn right -- impossible to find a song on that layout. had a gig recently where i had completely forgotten to save my setlist in advance and was desperately trying to locate the right slots.
Really it needs to be a horizontally scrolling list. Also needs sort options in case you want to find something alphabetically

I wish there was a way to make the buttons a little smaller and give more room for notes at the top. I'm usually using a pedal anyway, so I rarely touch the screen when playing live.

I cannot change anything about the color/font, although it would be a nice addition, however, what I do is with the help of PCG Tools:
- I have one set list containing all combis we play in our band and sort them by artist. In PCG Tools there is a way to sort either left or right of the '-' sign (or another if you want) and all my set list names are named like 'Artist-Song name', e.g. Skunk Anansie - Brazen.
- This list is copied to another set list which is sorted by song title. Just a few clicks.
- When I have a gig I copy either the first or second list to another set list and rearrange them by PCG Tools, takes a few minutes. I also add items like 'SET 1', 'SET 2' and 'END' markers (empty set list slots) to show the beginning and end of sets.

Being able to choose different colours would be just freaking amazing! You could assign different colours for specific styles. Red for lead sections, blue for pads. Black for where you don't play!
yellow for parts you should have learnt but forgot to and now you have a HUGE gig!
If music is the food of love, play on and play loud!

Oh my goodness, that would be amazing! It's no fun looking through the setlist for a song when the bandleader calls a tune out of order and you have the keyboard intro and you're starting in 15 seconds...beatlessDesign wrote:Am I the only person who finds the setlist screen a bit of a mess... Just make sure you have a sorted set list (either by hand, with Set List Maker or automatically generated with PCG Tools).andrewt wrote:Oh my goodness, that would be amazing! Am I the only one that thinks the set list feature it's absolutely GREAT?
Of course there is room for improvements but I think it's already cool as is.
In each slot I write in capital letters the title of the song and in lower the program/combi/sequencer name.
I order the slots per song and per program/combi/sequencer used in each song and I go forward with the switch pedal.
It works great for me and I neather read the screen when I perform, I just press the switch pedal when I need

Oh I never meant that it wasn't awesome. It's better than anything out there. I just was tossing in my 2 cents in that if there was to be any enhancements to it, those would be what I would want.metallo wrote:Am I the only one that thinks the set list feature it's absolutely GREAT?

Re: Setlist Styles
I actually used PCG Tools to make an alphabetically sorted Setlist for situations like that. Even so, I still have to determine that I can't find that tune in my Setlist for that night, go to the alphabetical setlist, and find the tune. I just wish the screen was a little more readable at a distance. I'm not saying I don't like the feature, because I do (one of the main reasons I bought it), but I think something like that would make it more useful.michelkeijzers wrote:Just make sure you have a sorted set list (either by hand, with Set List Maker or automatically generated with PCG Tools).andrewt wrote:Oh my goodness, that would be amazing! Re: Setlist Styles
I completely agree the text is small ... too bad I cannot change that (that's in the OS/firmware).andrewt wrote: I actually used PCG Tools to make an alphabetically sorted Setlist for situations like that. What I even like it more when the description text could be made bigger (by zooming in e.g.).
