Chromatic pitchbend
Is there anyway to do a chromatic pitchbend on the Kronos using either joystick or ribbon? Can't see any way to do it using AMS but I may be overlooking something.

Maybe assigning the Step Sequencer as AMS to control the pitch. Then you can set the step sequencer to advance in semitone steps.phattbuzz wrote:Is there anyway to do a chromatic pitchbend on the Kronos using either joystick or ribbon? Re: Chromatic pitchbend
I've just taken a look at the Parameter guide. Please search in your PDF manual for "Quantized Ribbon Pitch Bend" (page 101 in the version E2, maybe another one in the last published manuals version E4).ldascanio wrote:Maybe assigning the Step Sequencer as AMS to control the pitch. Many Thanks. Tearing down my system for a gig right now, but I'll be trying it out tomorrow!

To achieve this you can use an AMX mixer with mixer type set to Quantize. Set the source of the mixer to the ribbon or JS-X, and use this mixer as AMS source for pitch modulation.
In the mixer you can set the # of steps. So say you want to chromatically bend up or down an octave, I suppose setting the # of steps to 12, and setting the right value for the modulation amount, you should get it working.
Check page 101 of the param guide for more info
