I miss the chord trigger buttons myself. They were perfect for live triggered hand claps etc.

Well there are only 382 pages in the parameter guide and another 142 or so in the operations manual, so I think you can be forgiven! :)

I don't know about your first question but you definitely can use the foot switch to step through a Cue list. From page 161 of the Parameter Guide Repeat [01...64, FS] Specifies the number of times that the song of this step will be repeated. FS: A foot switch connected to the rear panel can be used ...

Off of the top of my head... No sampling, only one synthesis engine instead of 9. No individually assignable outputs. Of course the Krome is much cheaper!

You can filter out response to the damper pedal for the Bass timbre at the Midi Filter section. P5: Midi Filter uncheck Enable Damper on the Bass timbre.

For what it is worth... Something that the Krome does extremely well but doesn't get talked about enough is "Electric Pianos" like the Rhodes, DX-7 (tine) Wurlitzer etc. I believe that Korg really did some nice work on upgrading those sounds. They were good in the M50 for instance but for my money ...

I think you can also leverage the Cue List Function to help you do this. Check out the SEQ P11 section (p. 160 - 162 in the Parameter Guide.) I think this may lay things out a little more like what you are looking for. Once you have it the way you want you can use the Convert to Song function to ...

First of all thanks for your replies! 2nd--I did load my PCG and SNG files from one of my SD cards I used with my M50 into the Krome and was amazed at how well everything transferred. I would say 95% of all of the Combis and sequences transferred beautifully. (Which was great because I had done a ...

I saw that thread, but it looks like there are some issues with it. I was wondering if there was a way to actually copy the sample (digital file) itself out of the M50 and then load it on to the Krome.

Transferring Samples from M50 to Krome

I have both a Krome 88 and an M50. Is there a way to load a few of the samples that come with the M50 to the Krome? I love my new Krome 88, but there are a few samples that I used quite a bit on my M50 that are not there in the Krome. I would love to be able to use them with the Krome. Krome 88 M50 ...

Try this

Have you tried lowering the volume at the end of the chain in P9: MFX/TFX/LFO (Marked "Master")? That should preserve the total sound while allowing you to control volume. The same thing would work with Combis or SEQs.
